What you need to know
Is there a minimum order for embroidery?
We usually recommend a minimum of 10 items per design, but we can do smaller
runs – just note that setup costs will apply and unit prices will be higher.
What’s the set up fee for embroidery?
Embroidery requires digitising your artwork (converting it into a stitch file).
This has a one-time setup cost, $75+GST.
Can I reuse the embroidery file for future orders?
Yes! Once your design has been digitised, we keep it on file. There’s no setup fee
for repeat runs, as long as the design stays the same.
What artwork file do you need?
We prefer you artwork to be saved as a PDF, PNG, JPEG or vector format.
We’ll handle the digitising part – but the higher the resolution, the better the result.
How many colours can we embroider?
Our machines can handle up to 12 thread colours per design.
We’ll match your colours as closely as possible to our thread library.
How much does it cost?
Embroidery costs vary depending on:
- Stitch count (determined by design size & detail)
- Number of garments
- Garment type (e.g., caps can be more complex)
We can give you a quote once we see your artwork and know the amount / style of garment you require.
How long does embroidery take?
Standard turnaround is 7–10 working days once your design is approved and
garments confirmed.
